Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Friday, May 12, 2017, Joan Marie Fillier, Bolton, in her 78th year, beloved wife of the late John Fillier. Dear mother of John Fillier and Lynda McConnell, Debbie and the late Robert Diegel, Paul and Deanna Fillier, Stephen Fillier (deceased) and Anita Langley. Loving grandmother of Michael and Kerri Lynn, Melissa and Matthew Fillier; Jonathan Diegel; Stephen, Victoria, Brittany and Emily Langley. Cherished great-grandmother of Amelia. Dear sister of Nancy Power, Doreen Foster, Leo (deceased) and Claudette Carroll, John Carroll, Yvonne Hill (deceased), Marguerite and George Markett, Diane and Jim Lahey, Jim Crann, and Kevin Crann.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock and on Tuesday morning, May 16 from 10:30 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:30 o’clock.
Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke.

My last conversation with Joan was at the day program at Vera Davis center. I would say Hi Joan do you remember me ,she stopped looked at me and said ” of course we made a great team in the deli those were good days right Rosemary” I said yes Joan they were gave her a hug and then she smiled at me .
