Dear Family, As a new friend I looked up to Joe. He sparked a new energy in me and creativity through music. That’s how we became friends and connected on that level. We were about to set aside time to play our guitars together but could never find the right date except for the one and only time when he came to my home with his acoustic guitar. We both tried to out do each other on the guitar to see who was best, no matter how hard I tried he had the better chops. He liked that.
I just found out the news today from JP at the IDA on Martha Street, I could not believe what I was told and have been walking around in a daze. I Loved him as a fellow man, friend, musician and a person who gave back to you the same, I will remember him and miss him greatly.

Alexis, Anthony, Maggie and Roberta, we are so saddened by the news of Joe’s passing. He was a tough nut to crack, but he truly loved and respected your circle of girlfriends. He had such a kind heart and a gentle soul once he let you in. We wish we had more time.
Thinking of you all during this time of grief. We are here for whatever you need.
With much love,
Paul and Daniela

It’s 2022 and I’m back in England…He was a good lad and I know you adored him… He’s in God’s hands now, so stay strong and my prayers are with you and your family.
