It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Degeling announces her passing. Ann passed away peacefully in her 90th year on Thursday, December 15, 2016, with her close family by her side, at the Vera Davis Nursing Home in Bolton. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bob, married 60 years. Loving mother of Henry and Judy Degeling, Ann and David Barr, Nancy Bellerose, Yvonne and Dave Hesp (deceased), Sue and Paul Webster. Cherished and fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren Kim and Mark, Kelly and Aaron, Gregg and Becky, Jennifer and Kevin, Kevin and Maria, Andrew and Trish, Neal and Angela, Steven and Brittany, Colin and Kaitlyn, Julia, and her 12 great-grandchildren Samantha, Taylor, Hailey, Evan, Liam, Brooklyn, Dylan, Jack, Evelyn, Theodore, Hudson and Bennet. An expression of special thanks and great appreciation to all of the staff at the Vera Davis Nursing Home who took special care of our Mother for close to 10 years. We will be forever grateful for the ongoing tenderness shown towards our Mother throughout her time with you. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Saturday, December 17 from one o’clock until time of funeral service at 2 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made the Canadian Cancer Society. Sorry to hear that you lost your mother my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. For what I remember this awesome family had this big greenhouse in their backyard and I used to help them. When they moved to Bolton my family and I would go to their house to visit on Saturday nights to watch hockey and play cards and have an awesome time with your family. I have memories of all of you too and my deepest sympathy to your family.
