Jack was a wonderful personable gentleman. He was a great inventor. Jack always joked about his age and health by saying he was still ” on the right side of the grass” We had many great visits.
. An amazing man who contributed much to the world through both his creations and sunny personality.
Condolences to his family. Jack will be missed.
Gary Johnston
Uncle Jack and my dad, Chic Johnston, met at Gray Tools in 1936(?). They joined the air force to freight in World War II, and remain friends after the war.
Every New Year’s the Johnstons went to the Royces’ to celebrate the new year. And every fall, the Johnstons went the Royces’ for a corn roast.
What memories!
Uncle Jack, 101 years is a long time to be on this planet. Now you are at peace.
Godspeed
