After several days of reminiscing with his whole family by his side and listening to Elvis, Joseph (Joey) Anthony DiCecco passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the age of 75. Joey was a dedicated family man whose strong silent leadership was admired by all who loved him. He will be missed dearly by his wife of 50 years, Louise (nee Brioux), his four loving children, David DiCecco, Laurie (Darrin) Heynings, Leanne (Steve) Sedor and Tanya (Ken) Wilson. Papa was cherished by his ten precious grandchildren Joseph and Christopher, Eric, Kendra, Mitchell, Justin and Jillian and Chelsea, Rachel and Evan. Predeceased by his parents Lina and Louis DiCecco, his brother, John and brother in law John Cwalinski. He is survived by his sisters, Joanne and Vicki (Joe), his brother Vinny (Carmella), and sister in law, Carla.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 100 MacTaggart Drive Nobleton, on Monday morning, December 4th at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, 13160 10th Concession, Nobleton.
All invited to a reception at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation would be appreciated.
