Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Saturday, January 9, 2010, Joe Penney, in his 88th year, beloved husband of the late Mary Sears. Loving father of Charlotte and Forest Anklovitch, Ann Marie and Jerry Crane, Linda and Bill Teeter, Catherine and Henry Heidbuurt, Randall and Judy, Michael and Val, Mary Jo and Dave Raves, Theresa and Claudio Marchesich, Bernadette and Russell Vardy, Darrell and Ursula. Fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers Archbishop A.L. Penney, Paul, Dennis and Randall Penney. Dear son of the late Catherine (nee Mullaley) and Alphonsus Penney.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) Monday evening 7 to 9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Road, Orangeville on Tuesday morning, January 12 at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation.
