Judith was truly a gem. As a classmate of Judith’s at Humber College she will always be remembered for her style and grace with which she approached everything she did. Always positive and gentle – she was perfect for her professional role which she thoroughly enjoyed. Giving to others was natural for her. Instead of being sad for what we have lost we should all be happy that she was be mindful of the lessons she left.

To Judith’s family and the staff of the Egan Funeral Home, my husband and I offer our sincere condolences. Judith was very proud of her family. She will be deeply missed in the community. Her practical advice, compassion and professional manner was so appreciated by many who worked with her. I appreciated her attention to detail and how she was most welcoming to me when we first moved to Bolton in 1988. She was always genuinely interested in the development of our children and so supportive of my ministry both at Mayfield and in Orangeville.
So happy that peace has come. Feast on the memories and live her legacy.
affectionately,

Judith was very special to so very many people. The first time we met was for my father in law passing and the care paid to details was equal to all of the Egan Funeral Home standards. Over the years Judith has been like family welcoming you into her home and her life.
I know for my family we will miss the smiles, the hugs and the warmth of a friend when attending the Funeral home. I know all the staff will truly be saddened by her passing. To the family I say you have much to be proud of in your Mother there is not many people with such compassion for others.

I worked with Judith for a brief time very early on in my career, but there is no doubt that she touched my heart. She was an extremely smart lady who took me under her wing while I completed my 40 hours and briefed me on what to expect at Humber College, and more importantly on what to expect when becoming a funeral director. She was a dear friend, I will miss Judith a lot. I know she was an asset to the Egan family/ and Funeral home. Rest in peace Judith. My condolences to the family just remember she is up in heaven watching over all of you, God needed her more in heaven then we did here.

I had the pleasure of looking after Judith’s cats, Goldie & Totie, for several years and I knew she was very devoted to her pets, her family and her cause. She was regal, soft and very kind, and touched many. She will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts. My thoughts are with her family and dear friends.

Stan and I were so saddened to hear of Judith’s death. We remember her as a lovely and welcoming neighbour when we first moved to Bolton. I experienced her common sense, compassion and grace whenever a hospice volunteer group I was leading came for their tour of the funeral home. And her generousity…..she knew I liked her whole grain muffins so she made sure she baked a fresh bunch for the group when she knew we were coming. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill, John and Meg and their families.

Just learned of Judith’s passing but still wished to express my sympathy, at this late date, to not only her relatives but also the Egan family and others who worked with her. She was immensely helpful and giving over the course of many years to organizations in the community. She was instrumental in helping to train staff and volunteers at Caledon/Dufferin Victim Services and has supported my family after losses. She will undoubtedly be missed by many. Godspeed dear Judith…

I am Bill, John & Megan’s cousin. I live in Peterborough, Ontario and I just found about your Mom’s passing. I have not seen Judie in years (not since the kids were small). I did not know she was ill, but I did know that she was a very classy lady and was always a lover of cats and family.
