June 19, 1946 – February 1, 2022
Peacefully at Bethell Hospice, Inglewood on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, Judith Mary Hannah-Watkins, beloved wife of Barry Watkins. Loving mother of Rita (Rich) Hannah Jagger and predeceased by Gail. Dear step-mother of Kimberley (Brian) Marshall. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Hannah, Nicole Hannah, Kylie Marshall (Derrian Booth), and Matt Marshall. Proud great-grandmother of Taylor Hannah and Ashley Hannah. Predeceased by her parents Helen and Geoffrey Irwin.
Judy’s ancestry was Irish and Finnish. She would always say “Minã Rakustan Sinua” which means I Love You in Fnnish. I was so lucky to have spent 50 years with her. Judy’s daughter Rita became a wonderful part of our lives in her teenage years. She had been with her father’s family in New Brunswick. We travelled and visited until COVID hit. She had a triple bypass and came through smiling. A short time ago she developed lung cancer. For the last year she struggled with it on home care, bedridden and on oxygen, yet she still smiled. Judy’s working career included Liberty Furniture, General Mills and Topac Express. She enjoyed being a volunteer and served as Treasurer for years with the Bolton branch of the Canadian Cancer Society. Judy also volunteered with Caledon Meals on Wheels delivering meals. She loved her family, many friends, travel, volunteering and occasionally a Casino. Her smile was infectious.
A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at a later date.

Dear Barry and family
I know we are never ready to let someone we love leave our heart and life. I was lucky to re unite with Judy through work at General Mills and at my new home in Bolton too. We celebrated our friendship yearly in the summer at our annual “favourite” Wishbone Restaurant I want you to know I always loved Judy’s soft demeanor and kindness she shared. I was always one to babble on and she always sat patiently listening to all of my adventures. I will miss her as I know you will too. You meant the world to Judy and she meant the same to you. Please know you both have many friends that are hurting with you right now and I know they are thinking of you through this very difficult time xoxo

Ellen Siekierski
Dear Barry, i am so terribly sorry to discover that Judy is no longer with us. She was such a spark. We met on the plane in the late 80s when she came to the smoking section and sat in the empty seat beside Dale and I. She was there for most of the flight until you came looking for her. Every February you came to Toronto to see us when we travelled. So much laughter! You two came to my wedding in Ottawa in 2008 when I married Bill and it was such a treat to see you. Love all the memories.
She was special and the two of you together were perfect. Sending love and sincere sorrow.
Ellen (formerly Smith) Siekierski
