June’s piano playing certainly made the rafters ring and what a blessing it was to hear her play. We had great fellowship with her and all the Barker family at Albion Hills Bible Church. She was a strong Christian presence in all she did and her love of Jesus and family was always part of her conversation.
We look forward to that great meeting in the sky with June and Ross and all the others who have gone before us. God bless you all and keep you all in His hand.
John and Barbara Burton
We have lost a dear friend, and along with Ross, things will not be the same without them.
However, we rejoice that we will all meet again in the Lord’s perfect timing.
Our condolences to their family.

Peter, Lori, and Philip:
Lorraine and I wish to send to you our deepest condolences in the passing of our “Aunt June,” your mom. We have lots of memories of childrens’ plays and musicals, as well as her gifted and beautiful choir leading and piano playing. We wish you great comfort your knowledge of her faith in Jesus Christ, and in the hope of the resurrection. Unfortunately, we are not able to attend the funeral service, and we trust that it will be a time of comfort to one another, stories her life, and encouragement found in Christ and the Scriptures. Grace and peace to you and your families. David and Lorraine.

To cousins Peter, Lori, Philip and your families. Our thoughts flood your way as you honour your mom. So many wonderful memories. When I was about ten years old Aunt June pulled together a ragtag gaggle of boys and formed us into a choir. Then she decided to enter us into a music festival. We were the only entrant in that division. However we would not be awarded first place unless the adjudicator gave us a score of at least 80 percent. Aunt June was determined for us to make the grade. We were awarded an 82. With her amazing musical talent she was a special gift to you as a family and to us as a church family.

Steve and I sent our condolences to all the Barker family at this sad time.
