It is with great sadness, after a short illness at MacKenzie Health, Richmond Hill, on Monday April 22, 2024 that we announce the passing of June Archer at the age of 94. She celebrated her birthday with her family just 4 weeks before her passing.
Loving mother of Nancy and Bill, David Archer, Jim and Denise Archer. Cherished grandmother of Adam and Bhing, Colin and Vickie, Evan, Austin, Kyle and Natalie, Kris and Andie, Kaylee and Zach. Proud great-grandmother of Laila and Sebastain, Boden and Ednie, McCoy and Wells, Field and Alice.
June was a force of nature, full of energy and fun. She loved to talk about her beloved Blue Jays, always hoping this was the year they would win the World Series.
She was a bright light in her building, she is now a shining in light in heaven, partying with her sisters, Bessie, Ruth and Mary.
Cremation has taken place.

I liked June from the moment I met her. She was a tough cookie with a heart of gold, smart, spoke her mind, and I enjoyed and loved every minute I had with her. She was the best cheerleader the Jays ever had! With my deepest condolences and sympathy during this difficult time to the family.

My condolences to the family for the passing of your beloved June. She was a spunky woman. Always telling me stories and making jokes. May she rest in peace eternally. June, you will forever be remembered with a big smile on your face.
