Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about the loss of Kathy. Each morning when leaving for work, we would always wave to each other, she was a morning person, feeding the birds, chasing the wild turkeys off her property and of course taking care of her chickens. She baked the best cakes, she will be missed. Her home will not be same without her.

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Kathy had died so suddenly. Kathy cleaned my house for many years and was always such a lively person who loved her animals. She loved the cows, the chickens and her cats and when a stray cat arrived at her door Kathy, being Kathy, took him in and eventually passed him on to me. She also loved her garden and was always happy to pass along her home grown produce. She will be missed.

Words can’t express how saddened I was to hear of the sudden loss of your loved one, Kathy, and my dear friend. I will cherish fond memories of Kathy sitting at her kitchen table, enjoying home-baked cakes & herbal teas and laughing over the latest antics of her precious cats and chickens….that was second to the pride and love she shared about her beloved family.
“I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.” Leo Buscaglia
