With profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Kathleen Barnett in her 83rd year on Saturday, February 11, 2006. ᅠDevoted and loving wife of Barney for 13 days shy of 60 years. ᅠDear mother and mother-in-law of Ann and David Love, Will and Fran Barnett, Jane and Jim Drake, and Ian and Judy Barnett. ᅠSweet Granny Kay to Melanie, Jennifer, Adrian Love, Luke Racine, Mark Salmoni; Gregory, Patrick Barnett; Stephanie, Brian, Madeline Drake; and Andrea, Brianna, Natalie and Hilary Barnett. ᅠGreat-GK to Olivia and Mason. ᅠAll who knew her were warmed by her friendship, gentleness, humour, loving smile and soup. ᅠShe was always a gracious hostess to generations of medical residents and researchers. ᅠIn life, she never spoke an unkind word. ᅠHer many fine qualities will forever inspire family and friends. ᅠNobody was ever more selfless. ᅠShe lived and walked in beauty. ᅠThe family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S.
