1926 – 2012
“Kenny” never quit. After a tough battle with multiple medical conditions, all he fought valiantly to overcome, passed on to be with Jesus on Sunday the 9th of September, 2012. He will be missed in ways words cannot describe by his companion and wife of 58 years, Yvonne (Willa) and his son Steve and his wife, MaryEllen. He will always be remembered by his grandson Zach as someone who believed in him and loved him without condition. Ken was predeceased by his brothers Keith and Rex. His many nieces and nephews will remember him fondly as well as family and neighbours who have been a tremendous source of strength and comfort.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, September 13 at one o’clock.
Following a reception at the funeral home, interment St. John’s Cemetery, Mono.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Weston Area Emergency Services (WAES), 1844 Weston Road, Toronto M9N 1V8, an organization where Ken volunteered for more than 10 years post- retirement.
