My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Larissa. She touched so many lives! A huge thank you and Blessings to all who were by her side and helped her through her fight to survive xoxox
My dear dear friend Larissa,
You are in heaven now ~ an angel on earth and now an angel in Heaven! You were always the first to lend a helping hand, say a kind word, speak up for those who could not help themselves or needed support in their cause/fight (it did not matter what others would think). You would share your last meal with the hungry, your last dollar for someone in need. An eternal optimist! You always saw the bright side and looked for a better way. You always looked for humour and things to smile about. No matter how bad things got, you always found something to smile about, sharing jokes, animal stories and pictures. And how you loved your animals…Duke, Vadar, Cocoa, Leo, all playing in heaven now. You were my big sister! Always guiding me, supporting me, encouraging me to be the best I could be. I will carry you in my heart forever and always. I love you, Tanja

Dear Larissa, I will always remember the beautiful laughing girl with the big heart whom I knew in high school so long ago. After all these years, tonight I was thinking about you and decided to try to connect with you by searching the internet for some contact information. I was so shocked and saddened to learn that I had left it too late…and that you were gone. I am so regretful that I missed re-connecting with you, and lost out on rekindling our friendship from when we were both girls. It’s my loss. I remember you most for your kindness, your laughter, and your absolute honesty towards life. My condolences to your family. God bless.

Dearest Larissa,
Your positive attitude and smiling face always gave us encouragement and strength. We will always remember you for the strong, hard-working person you were. We will miss you but will carry out your legacy and look after the ladies at your home. You always gave everything you had to others and never took for yourself. Please know that you are now in a better place. There is no pain or evil there, only peace and happiness. We hope you rest in peace and maybe we will meet again someday…

I was looking up Larissa’s address to send her a Christmas card and also wondered why I hadn’t received her’s yet. I thought I would google her as I had a bad feeling. I’m sooo sorry for your loss Wally and family. I knew Larissa when she had her business on the Lakeshore, in Mimico, approx. 37 years ago.
