Peacefully at her home, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, Laura Emma Armstrong (nee Speirs), at the age of 89 years, beloved wife of the late Edward Armstrong. Loving mother of Ted and Lois, Tom and Donna, Tim and Rose. Cherished grandmother of Braden and Deanna. Dear sister of Mary and the late Bob Grant, Ruth and Russel Graham (both deceased), Gwen and David Armstrong (both deceased), John and Helen Speirs (both deceased), Hazel (deceased) and Bertram Stewart, Ken and Lonna Speirs.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in Mayfield United Church, 12496 Dixie Road, Caledon on Friday morning, December 9 at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation.
