After a long, courageous and determined struggle with cancer, Leonard passed away peacefully at Bethell House on Tuesday, October 25, 2010, at the age of 63 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Yvette (nee Bachelu) and his adoring three children Dean (Taimi), Kevin (Shalin) and Renee, his three sisters Magdeline (Edwin) Pepper, Helen (Don) McIntee and Loretta Sebastian. He is predeceased by his parents Anton and Barbara Sebastian, Yvette’s parents Emile and Bertha Bachelu, brothers-in-law Henry Seitz and Keith Sullivan. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews and all who knew him. Len enjoyed his woodworking, cars, music and all sports. His greatest joy was his time at his cottage where he could experience nature at its finest with family and friends and his dog. Len will always be remembered by his family and friends for his quick “one-liners” and his ability to make people laugh.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.

Yvette!
Our visits were not many but always enjoyable and memorable.
I was fortunate to be a friend of Len’s ever since we first met in the early 1970s in Thunder Bay and all the good times will be in my memories. Words seem inadequate to express my sadness and I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family, Dean, Kevin and Renee

Our sincere condolences to you Yvette and all the Sebastian Family. We were so shocked to hear of Lens passing. He was truly a great guy and such a fun person to be around and leaves us with so many fond memories. Every day now as I walk my dog past your Thunder Bay home I am compelled to stop and think about the great times we had together. May the presence of our God give you comfort. Terry
