Aunt Lois was the biggest joy in our lives. Her infectious laugh, sense of humour; oh and how we could get her goat to try to give her a kiss or take her photo. She made it fun to always try. You have touched many hearts and a piece of us will go with you. You are now with your beloved husband, daughter and Grandaughter and many other of our Angel’s. My heart goes out to the family. Xo

I will never forget how shocked we were when Lois became the target at swimming pool during one of the Karen’s parties. Lois you were laughing right along with those that were soaking you, what a hoot! Such a good sport.

Grandma,
The last time we spoke, you didn’t recognize me. You thought we were trying to fool you. It broke my heart to see you like that, and I was afraid to talk to you again, and have to go through that pain, of having to say I was someone I’m not so you would remember me. I wish that wasn’t our last interaction, I wish that I had been around more during my transition so it might not have been so hard to recognize me or remember me. I thank you for the gift of knowing I’ve come so far t hat I couldn’t be recognized, but I’m sorry that I you felt like I took your great-grandchild away from you. I will miss you, and I love you.

Bonnie, Adam, Ron and family, we are so sorry to hear of your Grandma and Mothers passing. On each occasion where we got to see her she was the life of the party, which with your group is saying a lot. Thank you for sharing some of her coconut cream pie over the years…however sparingly. Bonnie, we know where you got a lot of your spunk from! She must have been so proud of you.
Love Mike Stacey Owen and Ella xo

Our sincere condolences on Lois’ passing. Though we live on the same street, it seems like we’ve known Lois all our lives. She was a crossing guard in the park we used to go through when we were in public school and then later on we would take turns taking the kids to play school at Humberview. She was a wonderful lady and had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all. She lived a long life and is on the final leg of her journey and is at peace. Ron, Carolyn and Bonnie, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Kristin, Rick and Luke
We will remember Lois as someone who was positive, kind, genuinely interested in others and a natural with social interaction and conversation. Even when dealing with some challenging health issues, she would greet you with that warm, welcoming smile and want to know how you were doing. She will be missed.
Our hearts go out to Bonnie, Adam, Ron, Carolyn, Pat and the entire family. May all the good memories of Lois give you strength and comfort.
