Our sincere condolences to Lois’ family. We knew Lois as a neighbour in Rosedale village, and grew to regard her very fondly. We had many pleasant chats as she walked her little dog, Penny, or over a cup of tea, and we were sorry when she moved from the neighbourhood. Our thoughts are with her children and grandchildren, who meant so much to her.

To the Ward and Clarke families:
My condolences are extended to all the family concerning the death of Lois. Many of you may not know that Lois boarded with us, the Egan’s, while she was going to high school in Bolton. I would have been about 8 and Paul was 4. She was always such a happy bubbly person. Also, for our 10th Wedding Anniversary, my Mom had Grandma Clarke make us a leather clock as a gift which was 41 years ago. Apparently it was the first clock that she made that wasn’t for a family member. It hangs in our dining room so your family is often in our thoughts. Although I didn’t see Lois that often in the 51 years that I have been in Victoria, BC, when we did see each other it was a great reunion.
Cherish the wonderful memories you all have of her.
Blessings, Lois

We were sad to hear Lois had passed away. Our deepest condolences to the family.
She was always very nice when we visited her and had an amazing memory and knowledge of the Ward Family history which she kindly shared with us.
We treasure the little family history she wrote about the Ward kin and the farm.
Our visits to Brampton won’t be the same without her.
