She was a wonderful woman, full of humor and love for her family. Many of my earliest memories are of holidays and sleepovers at her home in Streetsville. Her funny little laugh, her kind words, the beautifully decorated Christmas tree, the smells and tastes of her lovingly prepared meals, the closet full of my dad’s and uncles’ amazing old toys, the kinda spooky but fascinating basement garage, and the best back scratches ever. Love you and miss you Nan!

Dear Gord and Margot: We were so sorry to read of your mother’s death in today’s Star and disappointed that, because of an appointment early Wednesday afternoon, we will not be able to be with you. Gary has many fond memories of your mom, Gord, especially her wild raspberry jam. Our thoughts will be with you.

Gord and Margo – We saw the notice in the paper this morning and send our condolences to you and your extended family. We did not know your Mom, but recall that she was important in your life.
The coincidence is that Ray and I were talking about you two yesterday wondering what you were doing these days. Would love to hear from you both, after checking this website – randrmusic.net

Had the pleasure of working with Mabel in the late 60’s at Fairchild Semiconductor. A very kind and caring lady who was a friend to all who knew her.
