I first met Madeline several years ago when we volunteered together at The Davis Centre. Madeline was a wonderful baker and supplied most of the bake table goodies for sale at the annual Davis Centre Bazaar. That is when I first tasted Madeline’s raisin pies. In later years, Madeline would call me, usually once or twice a year, to come an d pick up raisin pies that she had baked especially for me. What a caring, loving, sweet lady and a treasured friend.
My deepest sympathies to all her family. She was a very special lady. Carol Kidd

I am deeply sorry for your loss, Faye and Art. I am very fortunate to have known her, despite that it was a very short time. I remember when she first moved into the Davis Centre two years ago in January, Art brought a birthday cake to celebrate her birthday. We all ate cake at the Euchre table.
Your mom loved telling me about you guys. I would like you to know how proud she was of both of you.
Your Mom also told me a few stories about your Dad and how much she missed him. Here is one story that your Mom shared with me. When your Mom and Dad were driving together in their younger years, they always ducked when they passed under a bridge, pretending that the top of the car would hit the bridge. Well, they are now together again, cruising in the heavenly highways.
I am praying for your Mom and for all of you.
God bless and take care.
