I like to think about my Zio Marcello as I remember my Dad: Handsome, beautiful sense of humour, wonderful times together. My heart still splashes in the pool, reflecting his smile of those perfect family and friend reunions. Zio Marcello lived like he loved ~ intensely and honestly.
He exercised his ‘free spirited ways’ whenever, wherever and however he could.
We walk with heavy hearts in hand ~ and we are supposed to.
The feeling of profound loss is a direct cause of feeing profound LOVE ~ both are sacred human qualities of the soul.
Perhaps there is some Divine plan ….. this is where our journey with our faith becomes our collective guidepost.
And so we circle round, holding space for each other, leaning in so that we can all lean on each other.

Sleigh rides into woods, pig roasts on a hand forged firepit, fabulous meals and copious cantina wines at the enormous round table…at the Libralato casa and Marcello was the Italian knight of Hockley.
Thiry years ago Marcello was our fun man at our dinner parties and he and our menfolk were always mischievous…everyone adored him.
Great with children and inclusive to all.
A proud and professional man in his field…
We all loved this man…to his great family our sympathy.
