Dear Suzanne and family. I was so sad to hear that Martin had passed away. I know how much he loved you all, and you will surely miss him. I will always cherish the good times we had with all of you, they are some of my favourite memories of my childhood. My girls will always remember Martin at their Halloweens and they loved his accent and how you, Suzanne and Martin took a real interest in their costumes, and their loot! love you all. xo

Susanne, and family, our remembrances are fond of Martin at Rocky Reef repairing and “adjusting” areas in need of his special skills. The smile on his face, the strong remnants of the Scottish accent that flowed from his lips.
He will be missed, but as per God’s great promise, lives on in all of whom he touched and influenced thought out his life time. We are Sorry we cannot be with you in person to celebrate the JOY of his life on the 19th but our thoughts will be with you.
We will Always Remember and continue to display in Martin’s memory; the small wooden handmade table sign on the Ledo at Rocky Reef, placed each summer, there under an umbrella. The sign reads, “McAndie’s Shady Rest” designating a favorite afternoon spot of Martin’s to have a “sit & relax” looking out over the lake, well earned, after a full morning of chore and project activity.
