Please accept my heartfelt condolences, Eldene was a dear person and I only wish that I had known her better. I was very happy to have had the opportunity to visit with her and Kent during my last trip to Canada. She shared many wonderful memories of my mother (her Aunt Laurie) and I was very grateful for her kind words.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.
Your cousin in Texas,
Jill

We had so many good times together and such wonderfull memories to share. Only someone of Eldenes excellent
character could express her love for the Lord Jesus so well
by writing the entire Bible in long hand.
What an exqusite Lady.
Jude vs 24 is now her eternal joy.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Eldene’s death. We will truly miss her. She was such a sweet, kind and lovable lady.I’m so glad my kids got a chance to meet her at cousin JD’s house several years ago. She always had nice things to say about my family.I used to love to get her Christmas cards with the 5 page letter describing everything the Johnston family was up to. The world will never be the same without her. It was my pleasure to know and be related to her. All our heartfelt sympathy to the whole extended Johnston family. Darren, Penny Matt & Brett Turner

Although, I didn’t know Eldene as well as most. I had the privledge of selling her a car. It was one of my first car sales and I will never forget when she got behind the wheel for the test drive and said with a chuckle “May God be with you!”
My sympathy to the Johnston family.

My mother, Daisy, and I missed your mother`s annual Christmas card and cheery note. But it wasn`t until recently that I learnt of her passing. The loss of a parent leaves such a hole in one`s life, but you were blest to have had such a nice woman as your mother. I`m sure she is in a much better place now.
