January 29, 1916 – May 29, 2016
It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved Mary, in her 101st year. Mary passed away in the comfort of her daughter Barbara and son-in law Martin McCreath’s home in Caledon where she lived for the past 14 years. Cherished wife of the late Murray Bowman. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Lillian (née Barber) and Harold McKitrick, sisters Helen and Jean and brother William (Bill). Mary grew up and lived in Toronto. Throughout her life Mary enjoyed travelling around the world with family and friends. We want to thank Bayshore Mississauga for all the wonderful caregivers, especially Karen, Mary-Chris, Ruby, Panzie, Kayla and Rodelyn. Caregivers Sarah, Bev and Karin from Comfort Keepers looked after Mary also and our thanks are with you for your care and compassion.
As per Mary’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Mary will be reunited with the love of her life, Murray, at Park Lawn Cemetery in Toronto. Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, Orangeville (519-941-2630). Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com
