Hi, I just found out that Our Wildfield Angel Millie had passed away. She was a memorable lady from the Sub. She was very friendly and very talkative whenever you met up with her and I loved it. I then met up with her at the IGA and the Bolton arena -the Old one downtown. Again friendly and a very lovely neighbour. She would shake my coat arm when she as behind me in her wheelchair which was all decked out in Hockey stuff and we would catch up on news. She left an imprint on your heart because you always felt great after talking with her. I’m gonna miss her.

Dear Jean and family,
My deepest condolences to you all. Millie was one special lady. Loved sitting with her at the arena watching hockey and laughing at her comments. She knew a lot about hockey and she taught me the ins and outs of the game. If it weren’t for her, my son would be still shaking his head at what I did not understand about the game. She will be missed by a lot, I mean a lot of people in our community and by those who have moved away. Keep those memories close.

Millie was such a wonderful human, so creative (building her own floats for the parade), unique (awesome tattoos, earrings, and colorful hair), friendly (she could chat with anyone), adventurous (hiking through the woods and down steep paths to watch us swim), and she raised some great kids (thanks to Millie her son Ray became a wonderful husband to me) – the world needs more people like Millie and her presence will be enormously missed.

Sincerest condolences to Bob, Jean, Judy and Ray and families. Millie was a wonderful woman, with a joie de vivre that was lovely to see. An exuberance and enjoyment of life. In particular all things related to hockey. We remember the corn roasts the family would throw when living in the Wildfield subdivision back in the day, and your horse named King.
May Millie rest in peace.
Sending Blessings to you all.

Condolences to Millie’s family. Two fond memories of Millie – seeing her in the driver’s seat of a sports car on the Canadian Tire float in the Bolton Santa Claus Parade, and the happiness she had on winning a huge first prize rosette (along with some cash) for her large Bolton Bruins doll entered in the Arts and Crafts section at Bolton Fair. She brought joy wherever she went. Rest in peace. Millie.

I first met Millie at the Albion Bolton Fair. She loved to decorate whatever the theme was. Her scooters were outstanding and she would get busy as soon as the theme was announced. Millie had a heart of gold and loved her family dearly. Those who knew Millie will truly miss her. Our most sincere condolences to Millie’s family. She will be remembered.

Millie was a wonderful soul,
I was first introduced to her when I was a co-op student in high school she would race down the halls at the nursing home in her lime green wheel chair with her bright pink Mohawk!
She was full of spirit all the time. She always reminded me to have a sense of humour, even when things were tough and to have an optimistic outlook. She became like family as I got to know her. She, my sister and I even have matching tattoos of a safety pin because she gave me a safety pin and told me on my last day of co-op it would keep me safe..
She was truly an amazing woman and I wouldn’t be the person am I today if it wasn’t for her.

The NHL had Gordie Howe – Mr. Hockey . But Bolton had the privilege of having Millie Pilon- she was Mrs. Hockey to most of us parents. Listening to her cheer the kids on in their games. Thats how I remember Millie the most and that smile. RIP Millie you will never be forgotten .

We heard recently that Millie left us. Millie left her mark on minor hockey in Bolton and was the most amazing fan ever! She sponsored teams, attended every game, and was such an integral part of the Bolton Hockey scene. She proudly wore her medals and was so proud of the sport of Hockey. We will always have fond memories of Millie – she always had time to say hi! Our sincere condolences to her wonderful family.
