I remember Myrna as the young lady who periodically came home to visit her parents and might sing a solo during the Sunday service at the Macville United Church. I thought she had the most beautiful voice in the world.

My sympathy to you and your family, Kirk. She was proud of you. Many students were inspired by her knowledge and love of music.

We were sorry to hear of Myrna’s passing. We have many fond memories of our weekly piano lessons with Myrna. There were many “music nights” when we performed in front of our parents. She also worked diligently to prepare us for our Conservatory exams. We knew Kirk, who was very patient, sharing his Mom with her many music students. Our family stayed in touch with Myrna after our music lessons were finished. Myrna was the organist for my sister Frances’s wedding.
We visited Myrna at her new home on Gore road and we enjoyed our mini concert reviewing the More Voices United songs( accompanied by Myrna on her grand piano.) Our family knew that life had changed for Myrna the last few years. Our sincere condolences to Kirk and his family. Frances, Patti ,John and Mary Agnew
