With great sadness we announce the passing of Pamela Anne Goodwin of Toronto and Midland on Monday, January, 14th, 2019 at 44 years of age at Toronto General Hospital from complications caused by congenital heart disease. She lived a quiet, yet bold and creative life in which she cared for the needs of many animal companions and gave her time to a variety of charitable endeavours and organizations when her health permitted it. University educated, but always and forever an artist, Pamela created award-winning beaded jewellery designs with her mother and brightened the lives of all of those who knew her like a shining star.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Margaret; her brothers David and Doug; uncles and aunts Victor and Pam Yountz, Bernie and Doris Yountz; her cousins Michael Yountz, Christine and Jeremy Winchester and many second cousins, extended family members and friends.
In keeping with Pamela’s final wishes there will be no public service and she will be interred at Dickson Hill Cemetery in Markham alongside her grandparents Victor and Geraldine Yountz.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that you consider a donation to Ursula Hart’s Haven of the Heart Animal Sanctuary in Adjala Township, Ontario in gratitude for Ursula’s adoption of many of Pamela’s companion animals into her own family due to Pamela’s passing: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/haven-of-the-heart-charitable-trust.

Margaret, I am heartbroken to know that sweet and darling Pamela is deceased. (I was just now made aware of this, please forgive my delayed response). Memories of her brighten my heart, the way she would comfort the animals as they recovered from anaesthesia was so very special.
Love, love, love,
Barbara Ann
