At Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, after a valiant battle with cancer, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, Pat Horan, in her 59th year, much beloved wife and friend of Robert Murdock (retired Toronto Police Services). Dear mother of Bob Fleming, Tottenham. Loved stepmother of Jason and Andrea Murdock, Toronto; Jeni and Chris Pergentile, Hinton, Alberta. Devoted grandmother of Lily. Cherished sister of Larry Horan (deceased), Mike and Linda (deceased) Horan, Murray and Louise Horan, Betty McKay, Mary and Roger Rowley (both deceased), Brenda Horan and Steven Waitman, Sheila and Bob (deceased) Hutchinson. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dearly missed by the McGeein Family, Linda Dean and Carl Hornlehnert. Pat was a longtime, loyal 27-year employee of Simcoe Manor, Beeton. Pat will be missed by many colleagues, residents and friends at Simcoe Manor. The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care of the health professionals at Southlake Regional Health Centre and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Special thanks to Dr. Katherine Towns, Dr. Paul Karanicolas, and Dr. Jeffrey Chan.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Memorial service will be held in the Church of the Evangelists Anglican, 99 Queen Street North, Tottenham on Tuesday morning, May 28 at 11 o’clock.
