Aug 30, 1936 – Nov. 12, 2018
If you’re reading this, you know I’m busy on the 12th hole, par 5 getting ready for my 2nd straight eagle putt somewhere YOU haven’t played yet.
I left this physical world on November 12th. Those angels at the Bethell Hospice took care of me and my beloved wife Anne during my last days. I think they were nicer to her than me!
I’m succeeded by my 3 sets of golf clubs, 2 sleeves of balls (yeah I’m that good) and a putter. My lovely wife always knew she came 1st…after those 3.
Since I’m gone, I can say or do whatever I want now. Therefore, I’d like to thank all those who helped become the most humble, sincere, good looking gentleman ever to walk a fairway. Did I mention I was humble?
In seriousness, my last wishes for all of you are, treat each other with respect, kindness and compassion. Tell the people you actually appreciate what a great human being they are and how much they mean to you. Hint: you could have said something to me sooner! (wink). Create your family through work and in life as I have done and don’t miss your opportunity to love them.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the BETHELL HOSPICE at https://bethellhospice.org or Autism Canada at https://autismcanada.org.
Condolences for the family may be offered at https://www.eganfuneralhome.com.
Na zdravje!

My deepest condolence with Ann and Paul’s family. I have worked for Paul Janza 24 years as my first job and learnt great things of life from him. He was such a great BOSS and very kind and helpful to all of us. I did not forget lots of memories working with him including his teaching of golf by lending me his Bronze clubs.
A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. I will never forget his kindness. May God give him eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the great pain.
Nitin Panchal

Dear Anne, my deepest condolences to you and your family for such a great loss.
Paul was a kind generous soul, always giving from the heart. He also had a good sense of humour. He truly did care for all the people at work and showed it every day by going into the plant and saying hello to everyone. It’s all the little things he did for us that made him such a wonderful person.
I know that right now he is playing on the most amazing golf course. He will be forever missed.
With Love Rosa Barbera

I had the pleasure of working for Paul a number of years ago and can only reiterate that Paul truly was the person that both Nitin and Rosa have previously described. He was a one of a kind boss and on a personal note I took great pleasure in his daily ritual of poking his head into the office to say hello and ask if everything was going well.
Paul you will be greatly missed by not only your present employees but those of the past who were honored to work for you.
To Anne, Josie, Danny, Vlado, and Sebastijan and to the rest of Paul’s extended family my deepest sympathy for your loss
Kindest Regards to you all,

Gortnar Family
We are truly saddened by his passing, and can only hope that Pali is resting in peace. The impact he had on all of us was truly significant. Mentor, business partner, and loving friend to Joe and Miriam, Uncle to Mark, and Godfather to Paul. The roles he played were significant, and the impression he left was even greater. One can truly not measure the impact he had.
His humbleness and character were something to be admired, and we will never forget the life lessons and support.
Rest easy Pali, the infinite fairways await you.
The Gortnar Family,
Jozef, Miriam, Mark & Terri, Paul & Kim

What can really be said about a man that had everything, and wanted nothing. Just let me have my coffee first, and then the day can begin… Never missing a beat, always so observant. Asking me why is there perfectly good screws in the dumpster ;). It was always a pleasure to sit with him and talk shop. Very compassionate about every detail, if you were talking in his good ear!! You will be truly missed, see you on the 19th hole my friend.
Anne, my deepest sympathies. The lose of one, brings the love of many.

I have had the honor of working for and with Paul these past few years. He always kept you on your toes. We shared many a laugh about his golf and my baseball games. He was one of the greatest men I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
He always had a kind word for you and treated you as his equal.
I’m sure he is showing off his golf skills , giving pointers and probably winning many bets.
Paul left an impact on everyone that knew him. We are all richer to have had him in our lives.
Thank you Paul. I will always miss you. Enjoy the perfect weather and the greatest golf course ever.
Anne, my most sincere and deepest condolences in your loss. Paul will always be a part of you and you have many great memories to hold him close.
With Love and Warm Hugs.
Debbie

We have lost our founder, mentor and a true gentlemen. In our 50th year of operations, we endure a loss that is truly hard to describe. Mr. Janza’s passion for his technical trade, the customers he served, and the employees he mentored was truly something to admire. He treated everyone with respect and courtesy, day in and day out. He will be missed dearly.
His actions and leadership spoke louder than words.
Our deepest condolences to his wife Ann, and those closest to him.

My heart and prayers go out to first and foremost to Ann his loving wife. Then condolences to Paul’s family and friends and of course all of us at Nahanni. Paul was such a wonderful loving man who loved life and respected all people. We at Nahanni couldn’t have asked for a better person to teach us about life. What I will miss is our conversations about how much he loved Canada and his respect for the aboriginal people, their way of life and his smile.
RIP Paul. I miss you and think of you always.
With Love Bonnie

Dear Anni: Deepest condolences to you. Dear Pali: You said it all, true gentlemen and a great golfer. You will be missed. God bless you!
Darin Stokke
Our deepest condolences to Paul’s family on behalf of our entire staff: Dr. Stokke, Suzie, Hannah, Dylan, Dwayne, Luke and Emil. We had the honor of working with Paul at our office this past season so he could keep going strong in his golf game. Then, after he left to go back up North, he surprised our entire staff sending us bottles of Maple Syrup from Canada for each one of us and telling us he was looking forward to seeing us in the Fall. When we hadn’t heard from him this fall we called and heard the bad news of his passing.
We love all of our patients and we have some wonderful ones! The family should know what a wonderful impact Paul had on our staff every time he came to our office this past year. We were all very saddened over hearing the news.
Thoughts and prayers from all of us at Lifestyles
