A lot of great experiences may be forgotten when you are 95 years old, but Bolton remembers the John and Martha Barton who helped begin the Bolton Volunteer Ambulance Service in 1960. Together they dispatched the Bolton Ambulance from the old CPR Train Station where they lived and worked on Ellwood Drive. I had the opportunity of working with John for a few years before he retired after about 20 years of service as a driver and attendant with Bolton Volunteer Ambulance. To John Barton, a job well done and a life well lived.
