Dear Marg & family and Aunt Emy,
Mike has let us know what has happened and we are deeply saddened by your loss. We are are going to be in the area this week and will be attending the memorial.
Oddly, of late we have all been exploring our Pardaens roots and now are reflecting on the life of our grandfather’s namesake, Peter Pardaens. I had been working on the connections, as I carry Angeline’s name, our Grandmother. It is sad to hear another connection is gone, before we had time to further share our heritage. I have fond memories of my boy cousins and suppers at their house on Thompson Rd., London.
Dave, knew Peter as a Scout, as he was Peter’s patrol and then troop leader. Our hearts are with you.

Dear Margaret and Family,
Peter will be forever in your heart, your memory and your soul.

To Marg and family. First, I will make you aware of who I am. Linda Schwartz is my daughter so my connection to your family is due to the baseball coaching that Pete did with my son-in-law Don Schwartz. It was during the years that Pete coached the Bolton boys team and my grandson Randy Schwartz. I attended as many of those games as possible…in Bolton , or wherever they played and I particularly remember the games in Muskoka , where I now live in Bracebridge. and they played in Huntsville . I remember the Father’s Day tournament in Kincardine. Pete was a man to be admired with his love and understanding of the boys and I know that he helped them form the admiring character that was evident on that team. The boys benefited by having Pete in their lives. My sympathy to you Marg , and your family and may your memories of that great man Pete, help you in the days ahead. sincerely Muriel

Pete
you were one of a kind. you made people feel good about themselves. I remember when the Bolton Braves won the OBA championships. you were standing on second base alone. You were facing the outfield and i came to congratulate you and you had tears in your eyes. I said Pete whats wrong You said “nothing, i have never coached a championship team before” . From that moment on i knew you were someone really special. Pete and Marg have been friends for the past 15 years. Pete was only a call away and would help anyone. loved you as a coach, and even more as a friend. We will all miss you and we are better for having known you..

Dear Marg and Family
I was shocked to hear of the passing of Pete. I did not even know
that he had been ill. I know what you are going through and just
knowing that he is at peace now is very comforting. It is going
to be a difficult time and you will wonder how to get through it but
friends and family will pull you through and like they say, Time is
a healer. I can’t believe it is 2 1/2 years for me now. Life must
go on and you make the best of it.
Take care, and Marg if you ever need to talk, just give me a call.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Marg and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Peter’s passing. It has been a long time since I last saw all of you. I lived across the street from you in Sarnia. I worked with Peter at Canada Trust. The last time we spoke was in 1986 at a Canada Trust curling tournament in London. Peter met the man who would later become my husband, I was taking him home to meet my parents for the first time. I was living in Kitchener at the time. I will always be grateful to Peter for giving me an opportunity to work at Canada Trust, I remained there for 20 years. I wish you and your family my sincerest condolences.
Kindest wishes,
Kathy Schinkel (Ellenor)

My condolences to the family who lost a very good and loving man. Peter’s greatest happiness is seeing his kids grow into fine people. Indeed, his wishes and dreams have come true. He has left a great legacy behind and with that, he is ready to go to his Father in Heaven.

We were saddened to hear of Pete’s passing. Unfortunately, we were out of the country and unable to attend his funeral. Pete will be forever remembered as “one of the best”. So many good times over the years with our boys’ baseball teams. I hope he realized how much we appreciated and respected the time, his commitment and the guidance he gave to so many Bolton boys. From our family Marg to yours, our love, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
