Joe and Patti, Joseph and Paulina we are thinking about you these difficult few days just after you Dad and Grandads passing. It’s very hard to find the words I’d like, that express to you how badly I feel about your loss. I met Ray a couple of times at Joseph’s hockey game and talked to Ray about hockey, Joe and Joseph. He was very proud of you. Patti and Paulina, what a wonderful gentleman to have as a Father-in-law and Grandad. I’m certain each of you were in his final thoughts. You were so very lucky to have had Ray, Grandad in your lives. Anna-Marie and Dave, Ben and Jake.

I will always remember Ray for his infectious smile and great sense of humour. He was a champion of the underdog and always so considerate. Just last week I was fondly remembering our camping trips and the fun we had 40 years ago. As in the past, whenever I think of Ray it will always bring a smile to my face

Dear Therese and family,
Just want to let you know how deeply saddened we are by the news that Ray is no longer with us. We are comforted however by his acknowledgment of faith in our Lord. What a blessed hope we have in someday being re-united with departed loved ones because of Easter Sunday/Christ’s resurrection.
We remember Ray as always being a perfect gentleman, soft spoken and never contentious. His smile, laughter and witty humour were contagious.
He left a great legacy of ambition and integrity by his example that
is rippling down through his children and grandchildren.
Ray, you have finished well. Congratulations! Thanx for the fond memories.
Gerd & Margaret Ann Oster
