Ricardo Antonio Rocher, 77, born in Mendoza, Argentina, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones, at Bethell House in Inglewood, Ontario. Beloved husband of Mirtha, loving father of Cintia Nerina, and proud grandfather of Isobela and Luciano. Son of Jose Maria Rocher Moratal and Julia Ferrer ; brother of Salvadora, Rosa Julia, Delia Maria, Juan Jose and Elsa Ines.
Ricardo was a man who had an artistic talent; he enjoyed drawing and creating things with his hands, especially model cars and airplanes. He also loved to tell jokes, though he rarely remembered the punchline. The humour was in how much fun he had trying to tell the joke; everyone around him couldn’t help but laugh. He enjoyed hosting his Argentinian-style barbecues, or asados, where he was famous for his “charred”, otherwise known as extremely burnt meat, and his love of Vermouth.
Ricardo’s spirit will live on in the memories of his family and friends, who will remember him as a man who loved life and his family immensely.
A celebration of Ricardo’s life will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213), for a memorial reception on Tuesday, November 12, from 6 – 8 o’clock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bethell Hospice Foundation (bethellhospice.org).
Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

Ricardo was such a dear friend, like family. We enjoyed so many celebrations together, birthdays, Christmases and so on. We are going to miss him so much. It’s so interesting that we learned things about him in the last few days of his life, like when he was a kid he would look forward to read his favorite comic “Dan Cooper the Canadian Pilot”.
Rest in Peace our friend.
Carlos and Ana Maria
