I moved into Bolton in October 1978 and met Rick and his wife the following spring. Rick had a saying ” yaksha maya” and I thought he was on my heritage, Ukranian. I later found out he wasn.t, but I found that was an endearing quality. Rick was a gregarious person full of life and fun. I and my family are sorry his life was cut short. Our condolences to Lillian, Eric and Tanya

Our sincere sympathy and condolences on the passing of Rick — far too soon. I worked with Rick on the TFD in the “good old days”. Rick was a great guy to work with and I fondly remember a golfing trip to Florida, his gourmet pizzas, a few nights of camaraderie with Rick and his dad at the Army/Navy club.
He was a great individual and very well liked by all who knew him.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy and condolences to Lillian, Tanya, Eric and all the family. I worked with Rick for many years, he was one person that could liven up any room with his presence. Rick was a great firefighter and I learned a great deal from him. I will fondly remember times on the golf course and the occasional dart game played with Rick. I will miss him. God Bless!
