Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all today, on what will be a difficult day. We are sorry that we are unable to attend the service We had the pleasure to meet Mrs. Gelley on more than one occasion. The one thing that is fondly remember is her smile. A beautiful smile that was inviting and warm, but above all, showed the love she had for those in her heart. It was a pleasure to see her with her family, as you could see her happiness. It will be a pleasure to have those memories to remember her by. All were blessed to have her in their lives, even if it was for some, briefly.
Our condolences to the entire Gelley family.
God Bless.

I was very sorry to hear about your mother. She was a great lady who was, along with your Dad, always so kind to the many of us who spent much of our teenage years in the basement at 26 Tangmere. May she rest in peace.

I was so sorry to read of Ruth’s death. She was a very special lady, always so gracious and sweet and so devoted to her family.
I remember with great nostalgia the years on Tangmere Rd. – of all the great times with neighbours – so much friendship and love. Great memories that I cherish.
My sincere condolences to you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Gelley’s passing. I enjoyed doing sewing and alterations for Mr. and Mrs. Gelley during their years in Brockville and found them to be one of the kindest couples that I have ever known…always a pleasure to see at my door. It’s always nice to become acquainted with with my clients, but it’s so easy to develope a soft spot for the special ones. Ruth always had such a great, warm smile and sparkle in her eye as spoke so highly of her husband and family. I know you will all miss her very much and I hope you take comfort in knowing what a great joy you were to her. Warmest wishes, Tracy Shepard.

Richard, Dad Gelley, Barb, Dave, and Patrick,
I am sadden to hear of Mom Gelley’s passing. She was such a beautiful lady, someone who I really admired so much. I remember all the fine ocassions we shared at the Sunningdale House in Bolton, Ontario. Memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas still remind me of those fine days we shared with her. She was a great teacher and taught me a lot about life. She gave a lot and cared so much about us all!
Love you guys, oxox Allyson (Gelley) Luck
