Richard Wilson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, August 17, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be treasured.
Rick was the loving husband of Sian, devoted father to David and his wife Allison, and a proud grandfather to Sophia, Henry, Jack, and Ivy. Dear brother of Diana (Ken), Paul (predeceased by Athena), Ron (predeceased) (Jane), Jim (Mary), Peter, and Wayne. Rick will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his family, Rick had a special bond with the Sant Family, who provided unwavering friendship and support throughout the years. Rick considered them as extended family, and their presence brought him great joy and comfort.

To Sian,, David, Allison, grand-kids, Rick’s siblings and families and all who loved and cared for Rick,
I am so sorry for your loss. Rick handled his illness with such a courage. Most of us face our mortality at some point, and Rick did it with grace and selflessness. It was incredible and inspiring to witness. Thinking about Rick over these months has encouraged me to reflect on life’s impermanence and the importance of living fully every day. Which he did.
It’s so hard to understand why things happen the way they do, but I truly believe that we are souls on earth, living a temporary human life, and that our souls are connected even when one passes. We will all be reunited eventually. Our soul tribe waits for us.
In the time I got to know Rick, I was gifted by his intelligence, warmth and generosity, which Im so grateful for. He clearly lived a life of integrity, humbleness and honesty, and these are the attributes that many of us strive to achieve. Rick demonstrated those gifts. I will remember him for these qualities and for his “specialness”, his smile and respectful kindness.
I’m sending each of you love everyday, and prayers for peace and harmony as you cope with such a terrible loss.

I just heard about the passing of Rick! I am so so sad to hear of his passing 🙁 Rick was my main contact at George Sant Greenhouses for all the forklift repairs but to me he was more than that! Him and I could talk for awhile about pretty much anything. I was shocked when I received a phone call from Rick’s cel number to hear a different voice on the line, it was Cole who I guess will be calling me for any repairs now..anyways he told me of the passing..my heart sank right away, I couldn’t believe it 🙁 R.I.P. Rick, I know that you are already missed! GOD Bless

Sian, David and family,
Rick was one of our favorite people. Despite his tough guy attitude, he had a heart of gold and would bend over backwards for both Sean and I to help in whatever capacity that looked like. I asked him to give my parents a hug when he got to heaven and he replied that he wasn’t going there but truly he is an angel and I’m sure when he passed over, they welcomed him with open arms. Our memories of Rick will last a lifetime and he will be sorely missed by all of us. May you take comfort in knowing how loved he truly was and the wonderful memories that we all have of him.
Biggest hugs to all of you. Love, Amanda and Sean
