I am very sorry to read about the passing of Rita, She was my Mother’s (Jean (Lavery) Doherty) best friend for years. In fact I think that they went back to when they were young girls growing up.
I know that we spent a lot of time at Rita & Wilfred’s and they at our place.
I always thought that she was a wonderful woman. It was just the other day that I was thinking of her and wondering where she was, I had lost touch since my Mom died.
