Rocco Benito Marinaccio passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2022, in his 88th year. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margherita Marinaccio, his children Michael (Maria), Tony (Lori), Marcella (Robert), and cherished grandfather of: Rocco, Samantha, Phillip, Michael, Rocco, Daniel, Margherita, Sandro, Mario and Roberto.
Rocco was born in Accadia, Foggia, Italy. He enjoyed playing drums in a wedding band with his brother in his younger days. He immigrated to Canada with his family, where he spent his career working at Claude Neon, a highly reputable advertising company.
In his free time, he enjoyed going on walks, watching soccer, cheering for Napoli, playing bocce ball, making homemade wine, champagne, tomato sauce and the world’s best chicken cutlets. He also loved to travel with his family and grandchildren, visiting Italy, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and vacation cruises.
Rocco loved to joke around, smile and laugh. He was a proud man who lived a very simple life. He will be remembered as a humble, kind and beautiful soul who loved his wife Margherita, and family above all else.
