Rosemarie Farmer (née Bridgeman), November 28, 1929, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, in Orangeville. Rose recently celebrated her 93rd birthday, again, surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard, her brothers Marcelle, Armand and Eric, as well as her sisters Joan and Rita. She leaves daughters Cheryl and Beverley, sons Leonard (Isabel), Patrick (Kaia) and Paul (Rosanne), grandchildren Zoey (Rebecca), Lenny (Nesli), Shane, Andrew, Sarah, Addison, Carson, Maarika, Sean, Tyson, Aedan, and great-granddaughter Maya.
Family was very important to Rose. She enjoyed Christmases, Thanksgivings, and birthdays with a house full of people. Her second love was her music. As a small child she was offered an opportunity to join the Canadian Opera Company, only to find out her parents could not afford to send her. Undeterred, she followed her passion by singing in the choir and being the cantor in many churches over her lifetime, including St. Gabriel’s, St. Patrick’s and St. Leonard’s in Florida. Rose will be missed by many, but her angelic singing voice will always be with us.
A special thanks to the nurses at Headwaters Health Care Center in Orangeville and the PSW’s from Stay Home Forever, for their extraordinary care.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 7, between 6-8 p.m., at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213).
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday morning, December 8 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church located at 60 Allan Drive in Bolton.

It’s been more than one year, but we still miss her.
The love she gave us without even knowing us properly.
She used to call us honey (the tall one) and sweety (the little one). The love she holds in our hearts will always be there for her.
We will always remember her as ” Our guardian angel.” She will be alive in our hearts always.
