Roy and I patrolled together with the Caledon Citizens on Patrol many many times — he was one of my favourite people to spend hours in a car with! Roy was a great conversationalist. He will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear that Roy had passed. We enjoyed the Saturday Breakfasts at John’s Restaurant with Roy and Marie. He also sat in front of us at Trinity Church Campbell’s Cross. He and my late husband spent many a Sunday morning trying to out do each other with their knowledge of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your Father. He was a good friend, and I enjoyed his quirky sense of humor.
He was also a very talented woodworker, who’s work I greatly admired. He’ll be missed.

To Alma, Kevin and Jason,
I haven’t seen Roy in many years, but who can forget Bolton’s original biker, as in bicycle. Roy probably had the best equipped bicycle in Bolton and drove everywhere around town always stopping to chat with anyone. I always enjoyed talking to him usually about his two great sons. Roy will be missed around town.

We love Roy. We have a birdhouse he made a footstool he gave us. He fixed our old wooden bowl. We are heartbroken . Our last words to him on the phone the night before he died were that we loved him. I guess that was our goodbye

This is Roys Son Jason. Does anyone know who Tanga is? there is a wood bench for him with his name on it?
The Guberts
The Laderoutes: We are saddened by the loss that you have all encountered. Roy was a wonderful soul whose talent with wood is like an artist canvas. He was so meticulous with his work and took pride in every piece of wood art, which was never sold but given with love to those that he loved. Thank you Roy for replacing my step stool and restoring Adone’s hand saw. We will treasure the pieces always. Our prayers to the Family and please remember that he is alive in our hearts.
