Suddenly, at her home, on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, Ruby May Cassin, Scarborough, in her 92nd year, beloved wife of the late Edwin Cassin. Dear daughter of the late Wilbert and Ivy Diedrick. Cherished sister of Doris and her husband Carl Escoffery, Agnes and her husband Bill Telford.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home,203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50),Bolton (905-857-2213) Sunday afternoon 2 – 4 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton (Wildfield) on Monday morning, November 14 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:30 a.m.).
Followed by cremation.

My heart goes out to the Cassin Family during this very sad time. I remember both Ed and Ruby from some time back and visiting them on the Gore Road. I always thought the name of Ruby was such a pretty name for such a lovely lady. When I was little, I told my mom that I wanted to meet this Lady called Ruby. I remember her pretty eyes and big smile. Well Ruby are Ed are now together and that is good.
