With tremendous sadness and broken hearts, the family announces the passing of Salvatore Conte on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the age of 93. He will join his beloved wife Rita. Loving Father to Paula (Nino), Julie (Andrew) and Damiano (Josie). Cherished Nonno to Alessandra, Christopher (Deanna), Ariana, Vivi and Max. There are no words that can express how much we loved him and will be so missed. He had great passion and talent for painting, his vegetable garden, especially his famous tomatoes and beans, and in particular for his chickens, many pigeons, rabbits and canaries. Salvatore loved his quiet time and tranquility at home he built 50 years go, which he referred to his castle. He will always be remembered for his love and devotion to his Family and Friends.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday, April 7 from 11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., and 12 Noon – 12:15 p.m. Please call the funeral home on Monday or Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. to register a time to visit.
Private family funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at one o’clock.
