Dear family of Sammy Reid,
I heard today of his passing and wanted to tell you what a great man he was. Even though I havent seen Sammy in a few years, I recall the many times we spent together. He was a great mentor for many Union activists, including myself and was always there to lend a hand. My son Daniel remembers Sammy always bringing him smarties. I remember Eva and Stephen when they were young coming with Sam to many OPSEU educationals and Sammy was always very proud of them. May he rest in peace with his lovely wife and may you all know what a wonderful man many of us thought he was.
Sincerely,
Marilou Martin
