As troubled as Shawn has seemed during the past few year’s, he’s also seemed so resilient and strong.
He and Chrystal were good neighbour’s of mine while in Orillia.
He will be missed and never forgotten………………….

I am so sorry to hear about Shawn and for your loss. We had reconnected over Facebook over the last year and had many exchanges. I did not know he was ill, but when he seemed a litltle down I always told him what a great kid he was and how happy i was to have had him around. I feel numb by all this, the missed oportunities in life a young person misses. Laura and I will see you thursday evening, unfortunately I cannot attend his funeral because of work staffing issues. See you then, Love Lori

To the MacDougall Family,
Shawn was always a happy, fun and outgoing Man who was the BEST darn poker player I have ever seen. I remember sharing great hot sunny days in the summer just talking, laughing, swimming and getting a tan…
Such a tragic thing to happen to such a bright young man. He will be greatly missed by all but never forgotten.
All my thoughts and prayers,

I hope you are both hanging in there during this awful time. Shawn was way too young, and had fought so hard over the past month, it’s really hard to think that he’s gone.
I’m unfortunately not going to be able to come on Thursday to say my goodbye’s, so I wanted to leave a message here to pass on my love, and let you know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you both.
I hope to see you soon under better circumstances.
