On Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2:05am, the late great beautiful Sherry Fredrickson decided it was her time to leave this world and venture onto the next. Daughter of the late Ruth and James Lawton and wife of the late Larry Fredrickson. The brilliance of her hilarious soul lives on through her four daughters Shannon, Lisa, Debbie, and Kimberly. Missed immensely by son-in-laws Greg, Jason and Jeff. Grandchildren Aura, Ryley, Case, Roxy, Mavis and Onyx will carry the imprint of their grandmother’s ever loving soul, forever.
Sherry will be missed and remembered for her fun loving spirit, endless laughter, her love of plants & gardening and her dedication to finding a bargain. We love you, mom, mum, grandma, apple pie grandma, woman, Sherry, and of course, old bag. Our lives will never be the same without you. See you again in the next world, meow!
If you have a memorable moment of our mom to share, we would be so grateful to hear of her many adventures throughout her life. Please email your favourite stories of Sherry to

So shocked to read about Sherry’s passing. I met her years ago through a friend at a cookie exchange & loved her spirit & her sense of humour. Her laugh would make me laugh. We did a girls weekend with a few friends to Buffalo to shop & she was a riot. Laughed all weekend. She will sure be missed. Rest in Peace sweet lady.

So sorry to hear of Sherry’s passing. We had a lot of good times over the years. Lost touch unfortunately. We cleaned houses together and had some crazy experiences. Walked out of one. Because of how the lady was treating us. My condolences to you all. She loved you girls so much. She will be missed I am sure.

In loving memory of Sherry, a remarkable woman who brought joy and laughter into our lives for decades. She always had Blue tall boys stocked in the fridge, ready for me to share as we celebrated life together. Her voice, so distinct and full of warmth, echoes in my heart, a constant reminder of our many adventures. Sherry was more than a mother-in-law, she was my buddy, my confidante, and my partner in countless unforgettable moments. Here’s to the good times we had and the love she spread so generously. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered

My heartfelt condolences to the Fredrickson girls!
Growing up with Deb from Kindergarten onwards, in our Palgrave School days, Mrs. Fredrickson was the BEST “lunch lady” there was! She was always smiling, laughing and so jovial….a true gem!

Sorry to hear about Sherry. Didn,t know her in resent years but remember her growing up and going to the same schools and the same neighborhood. I lived around the corner on Glencairn Ave, not far from Jack Fleetwood. I was one of the ( not so ) notorious Road Rebells.
