Shirley Irene Hesp passed over that thin line that separates this life from the next on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, Ontario.
She will be remembered for her love of flowers, her passion for precision and her flair for artwork and painting while living a life of goodness. Her absence will affect everyone who knew her especially members of her family. They include her husband Murray and daughter Karen Freure (Bob Pastway) and two grandchildren Jason and Emily.
She was a sister to the late Rudy (Sue), the late Norman (Agnes), the late Barbara (Mel), Baxter (June), the late Betty Mitchell, and Bill (Gail). She was also the stepmother to the late David Hesp (Yvonne), Donna (the late Kyle Booth) and the late Kenneth Hesp.
It is difficult for those left behind but Shirley would not want us to despair. However, that is not possible.
Interment will be conducted at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bolton.
Any donations to Hospice Wellington, 795 Scottsdale Drive, Guelph N1G 3R8 (hospicewellington.org/donate) would be appreciated.
