Shirley, Fred, Ruth, Mark, Elizabeth, Veronica, Gail, Brandon…and his niece and nephews.. and all the extended Hannington / MacDonald families… (we cousins).
I was so happy to have seen Steve in his happiest time – so proud of his growing daughter, so in love with his beautiful partner, and so in his element, on the boat on the lake, on a glorious day…
Steve wrote to me recently and said “I have lived 3 lifetimes in this one, and you should take comfort in that”….I was amazed by his serenity. How he must have struggled with what would be…to come to that.
It was like him to care for my feelings, in my shock and dismay.
As he cared for yours….he lives, in your hearts, still.
I hope, as he said, that you can take comfort in that.
