Dear Karen,
I am working on a Nabonidus related project and was trying to get a hold of Tom’s PhD thesis which to my knowledge was never published. and saw this sad announcement of Tom’s passing. I am so sorry. I really enjoyed knowing the two of you in Birmingham what now seems like more than a lifetime ago. If you receive this note, please let me know. It would mean alot to me personally to hear from you, and maybe we can find a way to make Tom’s PhD thesis well known in wake of his passing.
All the best to you and your family always, Wayne

I never had the pleasure of meeting Tom Lee, but I have read some of his publications and just started to read his PhD dissertation on Nabonidus, the las king of Babylon. He was a great scholar. I can only hope that his memory will be a blessing for all those who knew him and whom he loved.
Take care
Gonzalo
