Tom, I want to thank you for support almost every cruise night, you were a great mentor and friend as one of the original founders of The Caledon Cruisers Car Club. You helped create this fixture in the community that has endured for over 35 years and has given Bolton a place to meet and greet its fellow neighbors and give back to this community with yearly charitable donations. Tom, I will miss most of all your carefully chosen words of encouragement and passive suggestive approach of advice giving that showed how much you cared. As you stood by each night I could see your want and need to do more but being the was more than enough Tom, your presence and knowing you we’re there to back me. You we’re a true beacon of light that shone on all of us. You’re kindness and warm words reached everyone, you will be sorely missed by me personally, all the club members and I can say all who knew you. Sharon my deepest condolences to you and your family from me and Annamaria, we were all blessed to have had Tom in our lives.
Ronald Hilliard
Tom truly was “one of the good ‘ole boys” as we grew up in Bolton back in the day. So many fun times messing with cars and the like. My condolences to the family. Rest in peace, buddy.

Dear Sharon and family
We were so saddened to learn of Tom passing. He was such a special man and always a good friend to all that knew him. He was so quick with a joke but also thoughtful about other people and how they were or if he could help them with anything. Our memories of him take us back to early teens, when everyone sat on main street and talked cars. He will be missed but always loved. Hold your memories close to your heart and he will be with you always. He was a great man and friend. Our deepest condolences to all.
Christine Maleszyk
Dear Sharon, Tammy, and Tom’s sister, Theresa (Ron).

I am so sorry for your loss Sharon – I will miss my friend Tom, especially from family gatherings; I will miss his sharp wit, his obvious love of his girls and his concern for others. He was a gentle loving man, a very supportive father to my daughter-in-law Tammy, an awesome grandpa to Hayley and Krysten and a great father-in-law to Scott as well as a new and loving grandpa to Danielle. Tom went through a number of health issues in the last eight years and as always, his loving wife Sharon was at his side to look after him. Tom knew he was loved dearly by his family and respected by his friends. Love never dies–love is everlasting and we will remember Tom always with love. Rest in peace my friend

Bolton Oldtimers Hockey Club
We are saddened by the passing of our good friend and fellow Bolton Oldtimer, Tom Pickett.
Tom’s contribution to the Bolton Oldtimers Hockey Club goes back many years and prior to the time of many of our current players. In addition to being a big, tough, hard shooting defenseman, he was a mainstay of our organization.
As a group we benefitted from his friendship and his great sense of humour. Tom’s dedication to the team went beyond his playing days as he took over the role of coach, coming out to Thursday night scrimmages and out of town tournaments. His positive approach to coaching made everything about our team that much better.
Our condolences go out to Sharon and the family.
Dave Lennon

Sincere condolences to the Pickett family, as we lived on the farm south of their farm.
Tom would from time to time call in at Gowland’s Recreation and Farm Equipment, where we would catch up with him, and he would see me and my sisters, Evalyn and Janet, where we worked.
It was always good to see him.
Sincerely
Linda Whitehead (Westlake)
