Deb, Randy, Cindy, Tom and Uncle Allan:
My heart goes out to you all. What a very tough tough few years we have had. Far too many loved ones lost, a huge empty void to fill. We have so many wonderful memories, so much love and joy and laughter and sorrow shared. Although the pain is so great, these memories will last our lifetime and eventually make our spirits rise again. Aunt Twyla always made me feel so loved . She always made me smile. And she will be forever in my heart. My love and thoughts are with you all.
Aunt Tilly you are set free from your pain and suffering and reunited with your husband, rest in peace and know you are ever loved and never forgotten.

Tommy, Cindy, Debbie and families….I am so very sorry to hear of Twyla’s passing. I have many many memories of our families spending time together as next door neighbours/friends in Caledon East, at the cottage riding the dune-buggie; Twyla’s rock gardens; our mum’s having drinks on the back porch singing to Tom Jones, and listening to Stomping Tom; My mum would call her ‘Twiller Diller’…and Twyla would laugh with her infectious laugh. With the two of them together again….I’m not sure how much ‘rest’ they’ll be getting, but they are at peace for certain.

…and of course Randy….I should re-read before I hit the ‘submit’ button 🙂

Please accept our sincere condolences.
Both Jim and Twyla Harris were very kind to me (Mike) over the years and I have nothing but fond memories of them both – regarding your mother, I do remember Mrs. Harris being very patient while Randy, my brother and I had raucous games of crokinole!
She was a best friend to both my parents and the friendship endured all their lives.

Tommy, Randy, Cindy and Debbie: I’m so sorry to her your mom died. I feel your pain as my stepdad died this day too. Oh man, they never prepare us for sad times like this.
Your mom was such a cool mom, I remember. I always enjoyed being around her when I visited because she was cool and so much more. I enjoyed the stories and values you would speak of highly of her pulling through the ups and downs of life. She was a rock, and you were were hers to the end. My heart goes out to you all. Prayers and caring thoughts from me to you, love Diana Lucas xo

To Allan, and the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other loved-ones of my dear childhood friend Twyla Bracken Harris…… Twyla and I met the summer we were both ten years old, when my family moved to Caledon East from Toronto. Together, we went for hikes, climbed trees, skated, slid down hills, picked berries, walked the railway tracks to the swimming hole and Innes Lake, sat together singing and giggling on the school bus, sharing so many fun adventures. Our last visit together was in Oct.2013, when we took a trip down memory lane and laughed about our soon turning 80…. Twyla was much loved and will be greatly missed. My love to all of you……
